If you love tradition, you will not find a better house in Munich. The Bayerischer Hof on Promenadeplatz has been family-owned since 1841 and has several restaurants, a rooftop terrace overlooking the Frauenkirche, a spa and the legendary nightclub. Marienplatz is a few minutes away, and it is not far to the Oktoberfest grounds.

The house is big, but it never feels like a chain – every room is different, and the service has 180 years of practice behind it.
