The Salastrains sits in the middle of the Corviglia ski area, above St. Moritz at a good 2'000 metres. The special thing: you step out of the hotel and you are on the piste – no ski bus, no hauling your gear through the village. In the evening you are far from the bustle of St. Moritz, but the funicular takes you down in a few minutes if you do want it.
In summer the house is just as good: hiking paths and bike trails start at the door, and the terrace overlooking the Upper Engadine lake plateau is among the finest in the Engadine.
