The NH Collection Salzburg City sits right by the main station, a little way outside the old town – and that is precisely the advantage: you get there easily by car, park in the hotel’s own garage and are in the Getreidegasse in ten minutes by bus. The rooms are large and quiet, the breakfast buffet is among the better ones I have had in Austria, and for the price you will hardly find a room of this class in the old town.
